In April 2004 the Hungarian NCP received a request for review on behalf of Mr Imre Horgosi alleging that the company for whom he worked, Visteon Hungary Ltd had breached the employment and industrial relations provisions of the Guidelines as he had suffered skin irritation because of the inappropriate protective gloves provided for employees using chemicals.
After analysing the specific instance the NCP proposed some measures to the company in order to modify the safety regulations, improve workers’ training etc. |

A joint statement was signed by the Ministry of Education and Transport and Visteon Hungary Ltd on 20 February 2007 but only released on 14 May 2007 when attempts to agree a trilateral statement were not successful. |
